Due to space limitations which are now imposed by many journals to publish conference papers, the papers of RQ 14 will be published in two ISI indexed journals:

- International Journal of Materials Research

- Materials Research-Ibero-American Journal of Materials

Submission procedure:

All the papers must be submitted as an attached pdf file to RQ14 Secretariat (rq14@dema.ufscar.br).

Submission dead-line for the pdf file: Extended deadline 30th September 2011

The Editors will then select the articles to represent the RQ 14 conference in a balanced way in both journals, within the space limitations in each case.

Authors will then be informed of the decision and they should submit on line to the indicated journal
(dead-line for on-line submission: 30th September 2011).

All the papers will then follow the refereeing procedure of each journal.

Manuscript Preparation

The length of the paper, for both journals, must not exceed:

4 printed pages for oral and poster presentations.

6 printed pages for invited talks.

8 printed pages for plenary talks.

As a reference, you can consider that 4 printed pages roughly correspond to 3.000 words and up to 04 figures.

Please note that each registered participant may only submit one manuscript.
